The Client: Rutgers University Institute for Women’s Leadership

The Ask: Create a short film telling the story of a student’s innovative and inclusive workshop series that offers improv dance classes to all RU students, with the aim to improve mental health and provide a safe space for students to express themselves through movement and connection

The Work: Acted as producer, leading a team of five students in creating a short film. Coordinated with client from pre-production to post production, including scheduling, script writing, storyboarding, interviews, location scouting, shooting, editing, and distribution.

Boston Scientific: NTC Recap

The Client: Boston Scientific Endoscopy

The Ask: Create a video highlighting a key organization event, National Training Conference, held in Boston, MA for BSCI sales reps from across the nation to include high-level executives

The Work: Preproduction planning, production, and post-production. Created communications/production plan leading up to event, with storyboards, schedules, crew lists, and equipment lists. Collaborated with external media partners to gather footage. Collaboratively edited video while securing internal and client approvals throughout editing process. Final product shared by BSCI CEO Michael F. Mahoney in internal company messaging.

The Client: 305th Air Mobility Wing Commander and executive team

The Ask: Create a mission video that tells the story and heritage of the 305th Air Mobility Wing, while “hyping up” and orienting any Airman that is onboarded into the unit.

The Work: Led and managed production across a 4 month period, coordinating with client in organizing preproduction schedule to include scheduling, script writing, and storyboarding. Video was used in unit orientations for all new employees and to be shown to high level government officials to tell the story of the 305th AMW.

The Ask: Create a highlight video of BSCI’s Endoscopy division’s values and mission, filming new footage and using existing assets

The Work: Led and managed production over 7-day period, coordinating with client in creating preproduction schedule and expectations. Video served as capstone presentation for internship with Boston Scientific

The Client: Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst Chaplain Corps

The Ask: In honor of Holocaust Remembrance Day, interview Joshua Brisk, a Holocaust survivor, to explore the experience of surviving Auschwitz Concentration Camp

The Work: Preproduction work included interviewing Col. Menashe Miller, nephew of Joshua Brisk, scheduling, and drafting questions to interview subject. Production day was a 4-hour shoot, one-man-band where I scouted the best location to conduct the interview on-site, asked Joshua questions, and drove the conversation to get Joshua’s story. This excerpt is part of a longer edit. I included the use of stock footage and motion graphics to set the mood as well as visualize Joshua’s experience in a meaningful way.

The Client: 305th Air Mobility Wing

The Ask: Document the implementation of a disruptive technology to encourage stakeholders to invest in project.

The Work: Preproduction work included interviewing members of the project team, scheduling, and drafting questions to interview subject. Project length was two weeks, from pre-production to post-production. Video was used to present to stakeholders and publish on the Joint Base MDL site and socials to highlight innovative initiatives on base.
